With the Azores high ridging up over the UK, mild and cloudy is the general theme for now, a welcome restbite from the bitter weather that we 've had over the past few weeks.

As always with the azores high ridging we have the potential for ridging to recede allowing storms to track across the Atlantic, UK bound.

This coming weekend looks very favorable for this setup to take place. With the potential for a SW Saturday veering west Saturday pm / eves / veering to the NW later Sunday with a possible  strong to galeforce flow.

The forecast at present is biased towards West Kirby firing.  One to keep a close eye on, and undertake early preps for the weekend.
Moved to the general forum - I don't think this will work in the "event forum" apologies.
